I have a real love for towns such as this - the old buildings amaze me & I always try to picture what life would have been like there, long ago. This photo is great - the close-up details, and the single bird in the sky make it a real winner. Beautifully done!

Glad you like it, Whitby is one of my favourite places. This photograph was taken on a small pier next to Tate Hill Sands.

Vey, very nice! I've never seen a real scene like this one, it must be very peaceful. I assume those boxes are some kind of fish traps -we use something like that here for catching crabs and lobsters.

Thanks Wolfpaw. You're right about the boxes, but as tourism has replaced fishing as the main industry here it isn,t always as peaceful as it looks.
