Thanks Peggi. It was taken in Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast, a town best known for it's connections with Bram Stoker and Dracula (see my post of september 23). I'll be posting a few more over the next few days.
Very interesting - thanks for letting me know its background. Now that you mention it, I can picture the ship, the winds, etc. If I ever make it over to England I'll have to add this to my list of places to visit =) I'll be looking forward to seeing more posts of Whitby....
