Hi Peggi, it's nice to hear from you. Sorry the reply to you're comment took so long and of course you may ask. The photograph was taken in York, the towers in the background are part of York Minster, which I think is the second largest gothic cathedral in Northern Europe after Cologne. Please forgive the brevity of the reply, there is so much more I wish I could tell you. Once again sorry I took so long with the reply.
