Beautiful shots! When I was in NM recently I saw an elk (my first one, believe it or not), and got a couple of pics of it only to find out later I had the lens cap on the whole time ... talk about frustrating (and a very dingy moment in my life LOL)! But these are great, Keith - definite keepers!
I know that feeling of frustration so well Peggi, hope it didn't spoil your time in NM too much. These were taken right outside the chalet we rented in Banff.
